Tindie acquired by SupplyFrame, which owns Hackaday

Recommended Posts

I'm happy for Emile as well and think that it is a smart move for Supply Frame. Based on what they did with Hackaday I think Tindie will have a bright future.

I don't know what other peoples impression is but ai felt like tindie stagnated a little over the last 3-4 months. I would really like to see them focused on driving more traffic to the site and helping sellers sell more.

@@Lgbeno completely agree, definitely started to feel like a ghost town. I can't complain about the number of orders I got (more than I can keep up with). But extrapolating from my fraction to the total revenue of Tindie, I got a bit worried that they might suddenly fold.

From that perspective I'm quite happy with the takeover. Not that enthused about SupplyFrame, but I guess it could be worse.
