longhorn engineer 14
Hey MSPers. I'm Parker and I run the website www.longhornengineer.com. I just picked up some launchpads so I could start learning yet another microcontroller platform. I have used CCS before in working with Ti DSPs so the IDE is a nice warm welcome. I have some projects in the pipeline for the launchpad and I am quite excited that I found a community like 43oh.

longhorn engineer 14
The C6700 series. Was for one of my DSP classes. The logic sniffer is quite a good piece of kit. Would recommend anyone doing microcontroller work it.

longhorn engineer 14
Hey longhorn engineer, I just came across your blog the other day. I'm just to your north in Round Rock. Awesome! We have to get a beer sometime. Do you know of any Microcontroller "get togethers" in the Austin area? If not I was thinking of starting one up.
gwdeveloper 275
Sounds good to me. Haven't heard of any but I was thinking the same thing. Maybe posting something on Meetup for a MSP430 meeting or something? I haven't gotten into the whole ATX Hackerspace thing, they seem to have a lot more going on. I still haven't been by there either. I should go there this weekend.
