Nytblade 24
Are there any books explaining how to use the C2000? I could just read the datasheets but sometimes it is helpful to have another reference source when trying to figure out how the different peripherals work. I am looking for something like MSP430 Microcontroller Basics or the Jonathan Valvano books for ARM. I am not a professional engineer - I need a human-readable explanation. I doubt there are any.. there are a few docs at the bottom of each chip page which should help you out.
Nytblade 24
Alright, I guess I'll have to toughen up and read the manuals myself
TI_Trey 38
Yep...datasheets and reference manuals are all we have right now. Sorry
Nytblade 24
I found a really good tutorial. Download the C2000 Teaching ROM... it is a bunch of pdfs from a university class. Scardini, oPossum and msptest6

Anguel 0
The teaching rom is actually the best source, unfortunately it is for CCS 4 only. This workshop is also nice and for CCS 5 but unfortunately the explanations are not that extensive: http://software-dl.ti.com/trainingTTO/trainingTTO_public_sw/c28x28069/C28x_Microcontroller_MDW_4-0.pdf Regards, Anguel
