I have been testing with the 430 Launchpad, eZ430-Chronos, and now the c2000 Piccolo on Os X 10.6 and 10.7. I could use any guidance any one has to offer. Thank you.

I'm not sure the C2K LP will work on OSX. There is no open source compiler for it yet.

OSX support will continue to be limited for now. Like bluehash said, there is no compiler, and it is questionable whether the debugger would work. That being said, TI is aware of the growing number of engineers using Apple products. We are actively working to add support for Mac OS to our products.

I guess Linux in Vitualbox won't work because of timing critical IO ?

It could work...I would be concerned about the debug interface. It should scale down in speed, so no problems with timing critical IO, but I'm worried about all those layers of drivers working correctly. If you are able to successfully access the host machines USB ports, it should work...albeit slowly.

Haven't had too much issue with Parallels 7/8 on OSX 10.7 and 10.8 with Ubuntu and Windows 7. Having gobs of RAM helps particularly if running multiple things. Speed degradation basically nonexistent... am working with Sitara, OMAP, Stellaris and C2K.

If Energia adds support to the C2K, then I can integrate it into the embedXcode template for Xcode, provided the drivers for OS X are available.
