sparks1426471343 0
Hello, Is it possible to buy the docking station separately. I'm unable to find one on the eStore. Could anyone please point me to one if It's available. Thanks!
TI_Trey 38
To the best of my knowlege, you cannot buy the docking station seperately. The thinking behind that is that intially users don't have a docking station or controlcard, so they buy both. Then in the future as they migrate to different devices they just buy additional controlcards. Now that most of our controlCards have an on board emulator, I think the above paradiagm is shifting to where people buy controlcards and evaluate those without the docking station. Then after selecting the device for a project, they need a platform to develop on. This leads to the issue which you've run into sparks. I'll talk with some of our marketing guys and see if we can't get these into the e-store. T.I. Trey sparks1426471343 and msptest6
sparks1426471343 0
Something like that. For eg, I have two F28335 control cards. If I need them to talk to one another, I'm unable to. This leads to the issue which you've run into sparks. I'll talk with some of our marketing guys and see if we can't get these into the e-store. Thanks for this. Having a contact from TI here is very helpful.
TI_Trey 38
I've had a few emails back and forth with our marketing guys and they aren't very receptive to the idea of doing a seperately packaged docking station. We are fighting we our CM right now and they simply don't want to deal with the headache of doing another project with them. I'm not saying this won't happen, but this could potentially take some time. I'll keep this in the back of my mind and continue to push for it with management. I appreciate the feedback and ask that this forum continue to give me ways I can help to improve user experience of C2000 products. msptest6
