Beaglebone black USB boot.

Just a heads up for anyone who may have read, and followed my guide early on. For <options> setting i had rw,async. After About 12 hours or running the BBB got a kernel panic I think. Something about a drive journal error ( unable to write or some such.

 

I have since changed "rw,async" to "defaults", Really I am not sure if the settings I had set had to do with this, but I will run with the default settings to see if I get the same error later. Hopefully, it is not my drive . . .

Thanks Bluehash. One thing that is causing me to scratch my head though. All the typo's and misspellings I corrected with spell checking crept back in . . . No idea how that works lol.

One the wordpress blog? There is an autosave feature with revisions. You will see them if you scroll down the post edit page.

Yeah I do not know whats going on. See what I do is write the post in sublime text, then i have a local wordpress server that I put it in( where i do spell checking ), before i put it up on the web. So could be that I am getting mixed up as to where i actually did my typo / spell checking . . . then once all that is done, i go through personally and check for grammar. . . Then usually it takes me 5-10 times of reading my own stuf on the web to be mostly happy . . . lol (wanna be perfectionist i guess ). 

 

Again, I dont know, it is most likely just me.

@@bluehash, and anyone else reading this blog of mine. As of this moment this will only work for ARCH debian and some custom busybox that a guy on the google groups did. He told me that Ubuntu, Angstrom, and Fedora all fail. So there is something different, I just do not know what it is.

 

This person also says it fails after the kernel loads, and right after the rootfs finishes it's thing. SO I am half guessing that something like connman is messing things up. Just a guess though, this person ( Micha ) seems to think its the kernel module for these variations. But in this context Linux should be Linux . . .*stumped*

err this is for the netboot instructions of mine. So yeah should not apply, but might.

I have tried this , using TI sdk builld  image. But I can't locate my VFS.

 

I've tried /dev/mmcblk1p1, /dev/mmcblk1p2, /dev/sda2 . It's not working.

 

What's wrong with the uEnv.txt  parameters.
