bluehash 1,581
Got this email today: The 2010 TI Co-Op Design Challenge has just concluded and some of the best and brightest student minds have created 14 fully open-source projects for the eZ430-Chronos. Watch some of their demonstrations or try some of their projects. Link Alot of useful information for us. Enjoy. I'm falling back on the blog updates because of work. But, yeaay!, the weekend is here... and I need to get myself a chronos.
GeekDoc 226
I got a Chronos quite a while back with a 50% off coupon. I figured $25 was decent even for a geeky watch. I took it out of the box again recently, and it looks like the LCD is bad; large dark area on the top right. It still works fine, but it's lost its "geeky watch" value. I wonder if it's under warranty (or if there is one). -Doc
bluehash 1,581
Try calling them about it. I'm sure they will replace or send another one.
GeekDoc 226
Try calling them about it. I'm sure they will replace or send another one. Good idea. With the level of support I've seen from TI, it wouldn't surprise me if they apologized profusely and sent a new one next-day air! -Doc
