ianmcewan 0
Hy for all forum members! I want to show you a newly developed ARM device for which we raise funds (for the prototype, and manufacturing) Some words about the AshimaCore : AshimaCore The AshimaCore is designed to be a very flexible, programmable inertial measurement unit - with a whole bunch of onboard computing capability. You don't need any propriety tools to program it - we recommend gcc, gmake, and dfu-util - just plug it in to your labtop via usb and you're ready to hack! This isn't Arduino, it's a far more powerful embedded development tool. We've packaged the board in a tiny footprint, ideal for a range of projects from robotics to avionics, motion logging, and home-made 3D controllers. We've also made the board easily plug-compatible with wifi and radio communications via XBee, and ready to drive a wide variety of motors, servos, or pretty much anything your project needs. The board is "best in class" being built around the powerful 32 bit, 168 MHz ARM Cortex-M4F embedded processor with floating point and the incredible Invensense MPU-9150 IMU. The board has a range of interface options (I2C, SPI, USART, PWM), is XBee / WiFi and GPS-ready, and includes a micro-SD slot. The board is designed for avionics packages, but would make a great choice for a wide range of hobby, school/university, research, and development projects. NeverGetMyName 0
Hi, The indiegogo project is a scam, and I think has been closed down by Indiegogo. There is a legitimate kickstarter page at http://kck.st/ZSPXgD which somebody copied and posted to Indiegogo. Sorry for any confusion.
bluehash 1,581
Good call.. Are you the kickstarter project developer?
NeverGetMyName 0
I'm part of the development team. The developer listed on Kickstarter (Ian McEwan) is the lead designer/developer/boss. This is him doing an extended Q&A for the board (just in case it answers any questions you have!). This is him showing off by powering four ARM boards with a LiPo and the power board developed for the Kickstarter.
