jkabat 0
All, I have designed and am in the process f ordering an adapter card that will let me use my old 3.3v arduino shields with my TI Sellaris LM4F Launchpad. There are no hard connections beween the two sides so you can wire pins as you need. This will enable the user to use multiple shields with the Launchpad event it the shield signals conflict. This is really usefull with the SeeedStudion 2.8" TFT/Touch V 1.0 from Radio Shack which uses all but 4 pins. The shield will be available at: Batch PCB Marketplace: https://www.batchpcb.com/pcbs/102355 from Sparkfun. I have attached a picture and will post the Eagle files if there is interest. (For some reason this forumn will not let me post the Eagle File) Edit: I have attached the Eagle files in a zip file for all to use. Edit: 12/25/2012 - Corrected error in .BRD file included in .ZIP Merry Christmas Everyone John K ProtoStellaris2Arduino.zip abecedarian, Rickta59 and Pny
bluehash 1,581
That's awesome work.. Put the .sch and .brd in a zip file and upload. That should work.
abecedarian 330
That's pretty cool. It could also work 'backwards', with the correct gender headers, and allow Boosters to connect to Arduino boards.
jkabat 0
abecedarian, I normally use stackable headers so I can stack boards if needed. I can just see it now: 4 Arduino shields and 4 Boosters in one stack: Rickta59, abecedarian and Pny: Thanks for the likes. I thought someone else could use this board! Merry Christmas JohnK
Pny 0
I get an error message when I open the file in eagle v.6.3: "board and schematic are not consistent!"...
jkabat 0
Pny, I am getting the same error. I didn't get it yesterday. I will look into it, but, it is probably nothing major. Edit: Just checked. Net Class 0 on the board should have a size of 9 Mil not 0 Mil. I changed the scematic but forgot the Board. I have changed the attached file in the 1st post.
