[ ENDED ] Jan-Feb 2013 - Stellarisiti Project of the Month Contest

Recommended Posts

Entry to the Nov-Dec 2012 POTM contest is open. This is an opportunity for you to show off what you can do with the Stellaris. You are free to use any Stellaris Microcontroller.

As most of you are still getting your boards in, this contest runs till the end of December, so you have plenty of time. You are free to make BoosterPacks too. If many are interested in your kit or BoosterPack, I can help you put it up in The 43oh Store(temporarily closed). You will earn some royalty on it and also help keep this community up and running.

To submit your entry, make an entry into this thread(or Projects) with the following:
1 - A small description of your project.
2 - A picture or video of your setup
3 - Code.
4 - Schematic(rough/hand drawn is fine as long its legible) and/or board files.

Prizes so far:
$20 Cash Prize - Donate by Abecederian, matched by Stellarisiti
10 LM3S8962 Ethernet+CAN Evaluation Kits EK-LM3S8962.

About judging the winner :
A week before the contest ends, a poll will be created with all the project entries. Only members of the forum will be allowed to vote.
The contest will roll over to the next month if there are fewer than 12 projects(12 or less).

A few simple rules to follow:
- You should have a working project
- You must be a member of the Stellarisiti forum at least a week before your submission.
- One entry from each member will be permitted.
- Your project can be anything based around the Stellaris. You may interface the Stellaris to another controller.
- You may reuse code from anywhere as long as you give credit to the original author.
- You must submit code and schematics of your project with a proper description.
- You can submit your Stellaris project, if it was created before the annoucement of the contest.
- You must have at least 5 posts in the forums, for your entry to be considered when the voting begins.

Bluehash has received my contribution to the prize here.

I hope everyone puts forward their best efforts.

I haven't said it until now, but I may double up my donation if I'm particularly impressed with the project. Just don't tell my wife.

That may mean you can win 2 paperclips instead of 1!!!! ;)

Or not. BH will make the determination about distributing my donation, and we'll go from there.

Mini Lab project aims to provide students with cheap multi-function tool for their learning and even further studying in Electronics. Mini Lab’s center is  Stellaris LM3S3749, a MCU of  Texas Instrument company, and it’s also equipped with touchscreen which will make the user interface becomes more visual and easy to use. Especially, Mini Lab’s hardware is designed to be able to upgrade easily, still have necessary features but keep low price.

Might want to change the banner / announcement headline from:

"Stellariti POTM Contest is Open. Win 10 LM3S8962 OLED Evaluation Kits!"

..to...

"Stellarisiti POTM Contest is Open. Win one of 10 LM3S8962 OLED Evaluation Kits!"

To correct the site name ( ;)), and to make sure no one claims false advertising.

Well if they do claim false advertising they'll have to find this "Stellariti" company first!
