pie 0
At the eStore, the price just went up to $12.99. I thought they would extend it a bit more until they started shipping out and people make something out of it. Increasing it now will only hurt the eco system now. Kostas 0
Still $4.99 for me and it doesn't seem to matter if I'm logged in or not.
bone 0
It's back to normal now. Ike at 43oh took a screenshot.
maxik 1
I've ordered one more for $4.99 yesterday when I saw this topic and it turned up to be a good decision: http://i50.tinypic.com/muz7l4.png Stellaris LaunchPad just lost one of its most significant advantages. SugarAddict 227
Why? It's still a fair and competitive price. People pay more for less (Arduino). Cheapness isn't always an advantage.
txf 0
Why? It's still a fair and competitive price. Well, it is a less competitive price. The stm32f4 discovery retails around that price, and that board has a more powerful mcu with more features on the board.
MattTheGeek 99
Perhaps they are using region-based pricing?
Rei Vilo 695
Even at $12.99, the StellarPad is a bargain compared with other ARM-based boards.

t0mpr1c3 91
Even at $12.99, the StellarPad is a bargain compared with other ARM-based boards. There is competition at that price point: http://www.digikey.com/product-detail/en/STM32F3DISCOVERY/497-13192-ND/3522185
Fred 453
True, but the STM32F3 discovery was announced months ago and still isn't available. I was excited to see the Launchpad was still discounted on Farnell's mobile site (in the UK at least). Unfortunately you're taken to the desktop site to place an order and there's it's full price. I wish I'd order more than out at the start now, but didn't want to be greedy.
