Stellaris Launchpad shipping details

Recommended Posts

DHL, FedEx, crap are they all, I have an 430+boosterpack on order from TI, for some stupid reason, TI ships this as two packages, with FedEx...

FedEx have been driving around since monday (now it's friday), and the package does not arrive, (this is not an very big city.. ) package trace is not updated at all, calling them to check address change (nobody home during daytime), and later they cannot find the address change, damn those people.

I really hope TI don't use FedEx for my stellaris that is on order, even usps is better than this (then it will come through my normal post), doesn't look like the stellaris will ship until even two more months, so hopefully I manage to cool down by then...

Finally got mine today. Haven't had time to do much, other than building the examples and programming them using my JTAG and OpenOCD (seems that there is no ICDI support in Linux, so I'll do it this way).

It's nice to see that the examples compile out-of-the-box on Linux with the proper GCC installed.

Next up is to get my enc28j60 booster/breakout working with UIP

Hmmm... does anybody with a 9/4 order date have a ship date earlier than Nov 16? I have a project in mind and am getting impatient....:) Can't wait to join the blue smoke club at home.... I am already a memeber at work... (fun with servo drives and motors....)

I received my two launchpads on 8th October, a colleague received her two on 5th October. We both pre-ordered them on 31st August.

I've tried most of the StellarisWare examples, working great in CSS on Windows 7. Now fighting with some Optrex LCDs scavenged from office phones :)

That's so weird, I ordered mine the same day (Aug 31) at 2:30 in the afternoon and I got mine Oct 5th. Strange!

Hi, I've got a couple of Launchpads on their way to me, but I can't find any info with the supplied tracking number (5KV0690). I'm using this page, but I don't get any results, regardless of the choice I make at the drop down menu. Anyone else with the same problem out there? Am I missing something?

It will take some time until this tracking number appears on DHL's website. If your delivery address is in some European country, TI usually ships whole pallets weighting 500-600 kg to the Netherlands (Amsterdam). Your ordered items will usually be with you in 1-2 days after the pallet lands in Amsterdam :)

Thanks for the info znanev.

EDIT: Eventually, I received my Launchpads today, few days after they were dispatched. I suppose the tracking problem was just a hiccup. For the record, I ordered them on the 1st of September. Anyway, time to download software :)
