Automate 69
The $4.99 is a "promotional price".

StellarisMarkTI 0
Hi all - You guys are great investigators! I work on the Stellaris communications team at TI - and you guys were the first to post about the Stellaris LaunchPad online! We'll be revealing more details about our new product at the end of the month and it will be on sale in late September. I can't divulge the specs until Aug. 31st - but our team is really excited about this product. Hope you all will be too! Until then, if you want to try to win a free Stellaris LaunchPad - check out www.ti.com/stellaris-launchpad for more info. -Mark Mark Welsh Stellaris Media Relations Texas Instruments Incorporated (TI) mwelsh@ti.com bluehash

Not sure if this was meant to be shown or not... http://www.flickr.co...and/7356344648/ Looks like 2 USB ports. I'm guessing one for JTAG and one for the ARM to communicate with other devices. Hopefully the USB can be either host or device.Definitely no Ethernet. Hopefully Rob's Ethernet BoosterPack can be modified to work with this Launchpad. http://www.43oh.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=35&t=2529 bluehash

Looks like 2 USB ports. I'm guessing one for JTAG and one for the ARM to communicate with other devices. Hopefully the USB can be either host or device. Definitely no Ethernet. That's Larissa Swanland's profile - TI University Marketing manager... nice person to talk to. The USB would be OTG for sure as most of their chips handle it. I wish there was Ethernet too, but board cost would go up. Rob's booster would work perfectly.

Not sure if this was meant to be shown or not... http://www.flickr.co...and/7356344648/ Interesting that the power and commons at the bottom do not have male pins like the new C2000 Launchpad although maybe this is not the final release version of the board. kaipyroami 1
It looks like the emulation is separated from the chip like the MSP430 board!

SugarAddict 227
I see that.... Yeah, ya never know, but it's not hard to figure out TI's link system
gcb 0
Is it 100% usable with mainline gcc and vanila kernels? i'm out of touch with msp430s for some time because of the retarded hops i had to take at the time.. granted i didn't look back in some time.
