NiNjasoar 0
Hello all, I am basically from India and studying electronics engineering at University of Southampton,UK. I love building electronics, and sharing it with other people, and checking out stuff which they are building. My recent build was this handheld oscilloscope, you should check it out. http://sonirajan.com/tag/portoscope/ Video: http://bit.ly/Lw5yhW `NiNjasoar (Rajan Soni)
bluehash 1,581
That's a sweet project, NiNjasoar . Welcome to the Forums! Make sure you add your project to the projects section in the STM32 forums. BTW what ADC is that?
NiNjasoar 0
Thanks Bluehash, yes I am proud of it. And thought I will put the design out so everyone can see it, hopefully improve it. The ADC is from Analog devices-> AD9218: 40MSPS;10-bit resolution but dual channel. So that, for dual input I do not switch the analogue circuit(for obvious reason) I use the dual ADCs and then switch the digital output into a single buffer. Works out pretty well
bluehash 1,581
Jeez.. what lens is that? Looks like a 50mm/1.

Fred 453
I am basically from India and studying electronics engineering at University of Southampton,UK. What a coincidence. I studied electronic engineering at Southampton. Well I did for a term back in 1998. Then I found it got in the way of the women, drinking and taking drugs, so I switched to economics and accounting instead. Now doing software for a living and a bit of electronics for a hobby. To be honest I know nothing about accounting but I had a lot of fun. Er - anyway. Welcome to Arm-HQ. That looks like a very neat project.
Automate 69
Nice project and blog! How much did all the parts for the scope cost?
NiNjasoar 0
Thanks Fred and Automate. It costed me £180 for the prototype(mainly because of the board) but I did calculate a price estimate for production which was around £45. Have a look http://sonirajan.com/portoscope-part-2-overview/
