marcmarc 0
Hi everyone, Just received a MSP430 FR4133. Enclosed was a leaflet from Texas Instruments which points to the Energia IDE as a software tool. Installing Energia was an easy job BUT, there is no FR4133 in the list. I have updated the software with its internal function for that. Did I miss something? It looks like that the FR4133 is not supported. Anyone knows how this sticks together? spirilis 1,265
Didn't notice the Energia reference in the leaflet... that's a mistake right now at least. Energia does not support the FR4133 at the moment. The current compiler doesn't support the chip. In the (hopefully NEAR) future that may change when TI's new GCC port for msp430 is used. marcmarc 0
Dear spirilis, Thanks you for your explanation. Well, this was a very short adventure with Energia for me. I like the Arduino-ish interface and its compatibility though. Hopefully the 4133 will be supported in the near future. Regards, Marc
