zeke 693
Hey Guys, I just discovered that there's a couple of decent online electronics blogs out there and I thought I'd post links. EEVBlog The Amphour Do you follow these guys?

Mac 67
Thank you Zeke. I didn't know about the AmpHour podcast. Just listening to #40 now to see what it's like... Cheerful regards, Mike
zeke 693
I listened to #40 this afternoon and I dunno. It kinda sounds like rambling to me. Not all of it but most of it. Dave's vocal urgency kinda weighs on you after a while. I just want to say "Calm down Dude!". I think the one thing that I noticed is that, occasionally, the two guys would stumble over each other like they were talking on a GSM cell phone. I think they have a 0.6 seconds lag between continents (Dave in Australia and Chris in NA). They stumbled enough times for me to notice something weird was going on. There was enough wisdom in there that I might continue to listen to the Amp Hour in the future.
touch 34
I like EEVBlog, I've been looking for some other blog/educational videos, but haven't found that much that are up to the quality of EEVBlog. I wasn't that fond of AmpHour (or any audioblog for that matter), they're just not for me.

I would go a little further and say they just aren't that good at the 'talk radio' style format. They are good subject matter experts, but they have difficulty making the discussion smooth and easy to listen too. Not just stumbles due to lag, but there's a lot of false starts and open talk about where to go next.
