veryalive 49
Hello all, Is it a good idea the increase the number of 'recent topics' displayed on the right side of 43oh's forum page to be more than 5, the current number? Sometimes I get the feeling I'm missing some good stuff after being away for a few days. This is a great forum. Cheers!
rockets4kids 204
Personally, I don't ever bother with the blog and just use the "new posts since my last visit" option in the forum.
Fred 453
"New posts" is my bookmarked link to this (and most) forums for me too.

The best way to browse latest topics is to click "New Content" just under the search button. The "recent topics" is for new visitors to catch their attention, TBH. veryalive 49
thanks guys ! oh, don't mind me --- a low-caffeine start today. i don't know how many hundreds of times i've been here - and missed that 'new content' button. excuses all around, shamefacedly. rockets4kids 204
Pretty much all forum software has a "new since last visit" option. However, between all the different forum softwares and all the different skins, it can be difficult to find this feature. One notable exception is TI's E2E site which appears not to have this feature. If I'm missing it, could someone clue me in?

Something close: @@rockets4kids, if you go to a particular forum(Sitara,MSP430 etc..) you will see the "Unread" text: HTH
rockets4kids 204
That would be fine if there was a corresponding "mark all as read" button, or I actually wanted to read all of the unread messages. But as it is, it is useless.
Fred 453
Will the "Mark Community Read" link at the bottom of the page do?
rockets4kids 204
I'm not seeing a "Mark Community Read" link...
bluehash 1,581
Not sure if R4K was referencing E2E or 43oh. On 43oh it is on the bottom left of every page.
rockets4kids 204
I found it. Actually it is *not* on every page. It only appears if you go into the "MSP430 Ultra-Low Power 16-bit Microcontroller Forum" sub forum. If you only stay on the "MSP430
