Just found it:

Mine just arrived. Unfortunately I won't get a chance to play with it as I'm away this weekend.

I can't see that YouTube video as I'm at work, but found these links on TI's site for the LP on its own (price?) and also bundled with LCD ($29):   http://www.ti.com/tool/msp-exp430fr5969 http://

Out of stock, not available for backorder.

I was going to get one for completeness, though I agree with @rockets4kids: putting out an eval board with this many peripherals (five timers totalling 17 CCRs; three USCI halves) and not providing the XL boosterpack interface is either incompetence, or an intentional desire to make the kit relatively useless for anything other than basic evaluation.

Thanks for the link!

This confirmed the reason I cannot find it on e-store. When I pasted the link the browser seems to bouncing between estore.ti.com and fedid.ext.ti.com indefinitely. This happened before for products that we cannot buy (due to geographic region perhaps) from estore..

Anyway this is very good deal and nice new product for the start of 2014!

Something's goofy there, in barely related news the F5529LP is out of stock with backorder estimated to ship mid December.  I emailed their support asking if that was Dec 2013 or 2014 :-)

I'd seen that periodically over the last week when I was putting things in the wishlist; this morning it was in stock, so I added it to the basket.  Went out of stock again when I was looking at other things, but it stayed in the order after completion, though it's still processing so maybe it won't be delivered.

TI's estore is weird.  For four years every email they send (shipment status, even licenses for CCS) gets sent to an old employer address that doesn't exist, and nobody can figure out where the problem lies.

Just got a reply,

Please go ahead and place your order and our planning group will be able
to schedule to ship ASAP if you are shipping low volume.

Just notice the note that comes with it:

MSP-EXP430FR5969 is based on Experimental Silicon

The MSP430FR5969IRGZ device used in this version of the MSP430FR5969 is a prototype device and has not met or completed Texas Instruments internal reliability qualification requirements.

Was it the same for the Stellaris before it became Tiva?
