energia 484
A new version of CCS with Energia Sketch import was posted on the TI CCSv6 Wiki. For those not familiar with what this is. It is a feature in Code Composer Studio v6 that allows you to point CCS at Energia, import your Sketches and then use the full debug feature of CCS to debug your Sketches. It uses mspgcc as the compiler but uses the TI emulation software to debug the LaunchPad. I have not tried the Linux version yet but the Windows one works great. Sorry for the Mac users (myself included), there is no support for Mac OS X yet. Any feedback is welcome! http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/CCSv6 Robert bluehash and Rei Vilo

energia 484
I don't think there is an official announcement for the production release data but Beta2 was announced last week. This version has a couple improvements for the "Energia Sketch import" Robert bluehash
rockets4kids 204
I wound tend to think that the availability of a Beta version would rather trump an announcement...
bluehash 1,581
@@rockets4kids They did announce v6 beta a while back and it is available for download. Was unsure if energia was talking about a release candidate.

Rei Vilo 692
On CCS 6, call the menu File > Import to display the Import dialog window. Then select Energia > Energia Sketch on the list.
