cc430 target board

Recommended Posts

You can always get the TI's official CC430 Target Board: https://estore.ti.com/EM430F6137RF900-CC430-Wireless-Development-Tool-P1601.aspx

It's got all the pins brought out to headers for prototyping.

Or if you sign up in another giveaway thread, you can get one of the mostly-functional MSP-EXPCC430RFx CC430 Experimenter Kit. This one only has a few pins left available since most pins are being used with on-board components (LCD/sensors/etc.).

This one is much nicer: https://estore.ti.com/MSP-EXPCC430RF4-CC430-Sub-GHz-RF-Experimenters-Board-for-433MHz-P4367.aspx

There is also a version for 868 & 915. These bands are not great in USA though, unless you are prepared to use some DSSS which is beyond what CC430 can do easily. It would appear that you might be able to get the target boards directly from Amber Wireless, although only the 868/915 module is listed on the website. http://amber-wireless.de/300-1-AMB8520-EM.html

Otherwise, wait for the PanStamp. Or, use something other than CC430.

Edit: 902-928 in USA. Dirty!
