10W & 20W RGB LED driver board

Recommended Posts

This is very bright and we get three different colors from the LEDs and with such brightness. Can you please explain the working of this circuit i.e. how would you manage to get three different lights from the single output and what sort of multiplexing device you use? Moreover, Can you please tell me the input power requirement of this circuit?

The board is powered from 12V/1A source.

There are 3 inputs, one for each color.

You can control brightness using two methods, DC (voltage between 0.5V and 2.5V (0%-100%) and PWM

In my video, I am using PWM.

Here's a different version of the 3ch constant current driver.

It can deliver up to 1.2A per channel.

PWM input for brightness control.

Current can be selected using 3 jumpers, each channel separately, 7 possible values (for example 1A, 0.8A, 0.7A, 0.5A, 0.3A, and 0.2A.)

Available on Tindie

Since I made all those floods, I figured I will need something to control them, and here it is, DMX - 8 RGB flood controller.

MSP430G2553 is used to receive DMX and control TLC5947.
