spirilis 1,265
PS- With the memory resources of this chip, I totally think an Arduino Esplora-ish game machine is in order. PCB with d-pad pushbuttons on the left side and 2 or 4 pushbuttons on the right. LaunchPad boosterpack headers in the middle for any of the LCD boosterpacks we have. Anyone a fan of this idea? spirilis 1,265
Uh, for what it's worth, I did get a quote from Mouser for the G2955 TSSOP-38 chips .... minimum order 200, $1.75/pc with 4-6wk lead time. Don't think anyone's doing enough with these yet that they need a group buy of that scale ;-)
bluehash 1,581
Best way is to sample for now.
abecedarian 330
Looks like waiting a few months pays off? Digikey is listing MSP430G2955IDA38R at $3.37 in single unit quantity, $3.02 each at 10, $2.72 each at 25. edit- I typo'd. Had 2995 instead of 2955 in the text. URL / link is correct though. Would like it if Mouser got off their ass and stocked them, but Digikey works too.
