I am thinking on starting a new project, a web controlled robot!!!

I was wondering if anyone has any experience with using an (Arduino)Ethernet shield with the MSP launchpad??

My plan is to build something like this: http://www.lynxmotion.net/viewtopic.php?f=20&t=6343

Or if anyone has any other ideas for easy, cheap web interaction with the launchpad. I don't want to use a wifi shield, because I would like to add video streaming in the future and wifi shields are not very video friendly.

Consider the TPLink TL-WR703N.  It is small, low power, runs OpenWRT, and gives you ethernet, WiFi, USB, and a logic-level serial port all for about $25.  If you strip down OpenWRT you can put all of your robot's brains on the router and then use the serial port to break that out for control and sensors.  You may even be able to plug a cheap USB webcam right into the USB port.
