chibiace 46
ive done a couple of orders from the store and got them very fast, about a week to NZ. unless you stocked alot more items i dont think i could justify one or two boards with anything higher then the $7.
Philipp 56
As far as I remember, you did not send me a tracking number. Would be great if it did not get lost but just did not make it way out of your 43oh.com & stellarisiti support, hosting and shipping headquarters
simpleavr 399
i am not a ebay / paypal merchant but i buy a lot from the web. may be u can take a cell-phone photo of the package u are sending right at the post office w/ the stamp on. i.e. after paying postage and before usps takes it in. (if this is possible). the photo can serve as a record in case things goes slow and your customer complains, u can show the photo to calm him down. many times the customer may think that u had mis-handled / forgotten his order. but w/ a photo proof, a reasonable cusomter will understand it's the post office's delay and will be willing to wait for another couple of weeks. if u ran into dispute, the photo may also be use to support yourself, may be? i had once order from china and receiving nothing after 6 weeks, i "reminded" the seller if he's sure he had sent it and he had a photo record reply back. that makes me certain that the package is on it's way which it did after another 2 weeks. roadrunner84 466
but i think we have to view it holistically, yes the product is what u wanted at a very reasonable price, but it is thousands of miles away, u want it? Then pay for the shipping, and "the" shipping that wont hurt the community, us, as a whole, which is what i believe bluehash is dedicated to.I might misunderstand you, but discriminating shipping charges between US and non-US will eventually cause the 43oh community to be much more US centric. One of the great things about this community is its international focus.Although I've never bought from the store I do find it charming that shopping prices are flat fee instead of geographically dependent. On particular for our friends in Vietnam and other exotic places it is really nice to have a place that can source kits at a fair price without going bankrupt on shipping charges. jazz

While i am all for 43oh as an international community enabled by the web, it looks absolutely fair to me to impose higher shipping cost for intl order. The situation is becoming unfair to the owner of this wondeful site, by the fact that what stance is Paypal doing, and how some buyer behave beyond reasonable sense, that I see there is no point in letting a good site being exploited. Fred 453
Most people (kennylin0309 in particular) understand the effort that goes into this site and running the store. It's a shame that there's the odd idiot that doesn't. Raising a PayPal dispute without checking is totally unreasonable. I think everyone is happy for you to do what makes your life easier. I'd agree that it's probably easiest to go with the international Fedex option so that anyone who really does want something can get it. Maybe alongside a "contact me if you would like an untracked international order" if someone is happy to agree that things can go missing. Would it help if some community members you trust reposted things for you? e.g. if you wanted to post me a few orders I could then repost them to the UK or Europe with tracking. I'm guessing that'd be more hassle than it's worth though. izdane
