chibiace 46
How cheap is cheap? 2.50 for a 10pole, .59 cents for a 5pole? Let me know, ill share a secret tomorrow. (TE/Amp "282834" Arrow has free shipping, Digikey and Mouser have them too, and they come in 2pole to 12pole. Prices vary alot, but so does in-stock quantities. Arrow is out of the 2pole and at 17 cents a piece ARG and the 5pole at 57 cents. Digikey has the 2pole at 48 cents., etc.) 1-282834-0_sml.jpg that price is ok but twice of the 5mm ones. where does arrow say they have free shipping, their shipping help page says 30-50$ to new zealand. but says $0 on checkout but links to a nonexistent fee page. mouser/digikey are too expensive for just a couple of connectors here with their minimum order amounts for free shipping being over 100$. Arrow has free shipping till end of day November 30th (doesn't state time zone), but really, it's my fault, us centric, I forgot how many people on this board are worldwide. The free shipping is for US and Canada only
abecedarian 330
/me just ordered 100, single pole (two lead, through hole, 6x6mm) for $9 and some change, so 0.10 cents each... too much?

Probably priced about right. Unique too, most only have the 4 lead type that hold in place. Personally, I want to get some of those smd ones, like 3x6mm, twice as big as 1206 leds, but still tiny. I have a few tact button/green LED combo SMD parts that are about that size. Dying to find something to use them on!

abecedarian 330
I've been checking and nothing like that on the bay I could find. Kept telling me "these are not the lighted switches your are looking for".

t0mpr1c3 91
Just populated my 2 boards (well, the lower half anyway). 8-) Only had 0805 parts which made it a bit tricky, especially the LEDs. http://smokedprojects.blogspot.com/2013/12/homemade-msp430-launchpads.html
