bluehash 1,581
I have some very good news. TI had a left over v1.4 PCBs before they bumped to v1.5. I have quite a stack of them and can make great standalone Launchpads or as a souvenir. I feel this is a great way to give back to the community. Many thanks to LariSan for this. I'd like to personally thank her for her thoughtfulness. This would just be discarded if not for her. You can thank her on her twitter handle at @MCUniversiTI You can get one for free by placing an order at The 43oh Store. However minimum($2.84) shipping still applies. You are free to order just the PCBs. LariSan and cubeberg

LariSan 81
I'd love to see if anyone comes up with something to do with these. It felt like a shame that they were just going to get scrapped... maybe 1 part hopeful and 1 part joking... here are some inspirational ideas ;-) http://www.toxel.com/inspiration/2010/04/16/recycled-circuit-board-creations/ bluehash

Philipp 56
This is very nice, thank you LariSan and bluehash! However, international shipping from the 43oh store is 7,50$, which I believe is quite high for two pcbs. Is it possible to ship these cheaper, in an ordinary letter maybe, bluehash? Or could you raise the maximum quantity to eight (one panel)? I would love to build some el'cheapo target boards out of these, one with a ZIF socket maybe. Don't get me wrong, you offer these boards for free and you have some expense on packaging, labeling and shipping, you're doing a great job! But i can get two preassembled Launchpads directly from TI for 8,60$, this equals two of the bare v1.4 pcbs + 7,50$ shipping + sockets and buttons. :!!!:
