luke 9 Posted December 9, 2012 Share Posted December 9, 2012 Sorry I missed this earlier, but I have to comment....So basically cooked in a bag and had after-the-fact char added? :!!!:Call me strange but I'd do it the other way- seer the meat then bag and cook so the char flavor could permeate the meat. Anyhow, how much? (If it was posted, my apologies- I was distracted by food.) I'm new here. ;-) The burgers are vacuum sealed. I used american Kobe ground beef, we're lucky we can get it for a few dollars more a pound. It's awesome, something like 30% fat. Burgers are not typically cooked sous vide but I like burgers rare and they cook so well. I prefer to sear meat after sous vide cooking to get that crisp brown crust. Am I the only one that saw a whole "run-on" "CODE" block without CR or LF of who, what and where, like with no formatting other than color coding of things, like a run-on paragraph?
