cubeberg 540
@@RobG - The left-hand column of LEDs is always red - I'm not getting any green or blue. Any idea if its a software bug or problem with my soldering? **Edit - ruled out faulty display - I can get the LEDs to light up by shorting the right pins. I'll check solder joints when I get home. RobG 1,892
The left-hand column of LEDs is always red - I'm not getting any green or blue. Any idea if its a software bug or problem with my soldering? The code below will cycle through 8 colors. To see it scan, change ID_0 to ID_3 and CCR0 to 65535 cycleColors.c This one will cycle 3 color one LED at a time cyclePixels.c cubeberg
cubeberg 540
Fixed a bad solder joint on the LED driver that cleared up the left-hand column. Still seeing a slight alternating difference between columns - I'll run the test code and see how that looks. Could still be something that's not soldered quite right. oshj44 1
I got the board from RobG a couple weeks ago and I have it fully working now after a bit of trial and error. This was my first real msp430 project and it's awesome! I attached a video of the example program RobG posted running. now to play with the pattern IMG_0381.MOV RobG
