@@spirilis - Isn't Micrium's uOS II or III or something like that licensed for personal use on some of the boards you have?

Source code is available in that documentation? If so, might be worth a peek, not to copy their work but to see how they did things.

IIRC Micrium was never licensed for personal use..... FreeRTOS is out there though.  It's probably not hard to implement, in fact the RPDL uses software interrupts for that kind of thing... I'll cross that bridge when I get to it.

In retrospect, I think you're right that it wasn't for personal use but rather development use; product release would require licensing.

 

I wasn't suggesting you do an RTOS, but rather that you look at how those did things. That might help you figure out other things.
