I2C not working - ENERGIA 1.8.11E23 & MSP-EXP430F5529LP

Recommended Posts

I try to use the I2C wire library with  ENERGIA 1.8.11E23 & MSP-EXP430f5529LP with no success .

I use 4.7k Pull ups to 3.3v and use the Example code in master writer as shown below. there are no signals at all while looking at P4.1 and P4.2 the controller SCL and SDA pins with scope.

looked in previous answers in this forum and found no solution.

will appreciate any help

#include <Wire.h>

void setup()
  Wire.begin(); // join i2c bus (address optional for master)

byte x = 0;

void loop()
  Wire.beginTransmission(4); // transmit to device #4
  Wire.write("x is ");        // sends five bytes
  Wire.write(x);              // sends one byte
  Wire.endTransmission();    // stop transmitting
