MattTheGeek 99
MotorPack 4 CH motor controller booster pack The MotorPack Booster Pack is a 4 CH motor controller based off the DRV8830 from Texas Instruments. Key Features Drive up to 4 DC motors at 1A per channel (External power supply is required) Easy and IO saving I2C interface (Only 3 GPIO pins required) Motor Fault Detection Stackable! (Hopefully) Status: PCB Routing I'm rerouting the PCB for the addition of the address select logic GeekDoc
MattTheGeek 99
Still need to calculate some resistor values, etc... fatihinanc and bluehash
bluehash 1,581
Let me know when you are ready to make PCBs.
MattTheGeek 99
Changed the design a bit: Fuse has been replaced with a 4 amp PTC.Enhanced reverse voltage protection. No voltage drop.Schematic fixes. Almost done with layout.
MattTheGeek 99
Got the MotorPack to version 2. I'm currently optimizing the routing and doing silkscreen. It should be ready to be sent off to seeedstudio by Friday. An assembled board shouldn't cost more than $24.99 or so.

MattTheGeek 99
Added address select logic into design, which should hopefully allow users to stack another motorpack onto the launchpad and use both at the same time.
