cde 334
Android 1.6 with 2.1 browser. Looks fine, like a normal generic wordpress on a mobile theme would. Only gives the post titles though. Be nice if it would also give the first line or two of the post. bluehash

GeekDoc 226
I agree with cde... Wait... you changed it while I was posting! (Android 2.1) Looks good. I like the Twitter feed button at the top. I like that the post is formatted for mobile as well (my mobile theme doesn't). If you can change the background to match the regular site, I think you've got it perfect. Mind if I ask what plugin you're using? Now, if you could just get phpBB themed for mobile... BTW: The original site theme wasn't bad for mobile either, I noticed. bluehash
cde 334
Summaries look good. Last tweak needed is adding a link for the forum to the menu of the mobile theme. Currently only has home, rss, and email/contact links.
bluehash 1,581
Thanks for your feedback Doc. Mind if I ask what plugin you're using? The Blog uses WPTouch to mobilize it. I went to your blog to look at the theme, but couldn't find it. Your using a different one, I think. if you could just get phpBB themed for mobile... Hehe.. still searching for that. BTW: The original site theme wasn't bad for mobile either, I noticed. Thanks. Thats true, but there was alot of scrolling involved. We'll see how this plays out. If you can change the background to match the regular site, I think you've got it perfect. The plugin allows to change CSS at the backend, so that's next.

Currently only has home, rss, and email/contact links. Oh yeah, missed that. And if you manage to theme the forum for mobile, that will be an even bigger step (site was ok on mobile before). Have you ever tried to hit that tiny "new replies" link on a mobile phone?

GeekDoc 226
(sorry, took a bit because I can't upload to this forum, had to put on my site) That icon takes you straight to the first reply you haven't read. Very small; hard to hit with a fingertip.
bluehash 1,581
@cde Ah.. ok, I was searching for the term "New Replies" @geekdoc Yes that is super tiny. This should be taken care of once a phpbb mobile theme comes in. Till then, you will have to finger pick. (sorry, took a bit because I can't upload to this forum, had to put on my site) I'm still wondering why you are unable to upload. You can do an upload attachment like below:
GeekDoc 226
I can in most, but not in "Announcements". Probably because you're the only one with permissions to start a topic; probably bleeds over to uploads. Seems reasonable.
