zubiaur 0
Hi all, I write you to make you aware that you seem to be blocking certain ip blocks which correspond to a large area. Some months ago I tried to visit this site unsuccessfully, at first I thought the site was down, I tried to access on several dates with no luck. After seeing that some recent blog articles where still being linked it tickled me that you might be blocking my, and other IPs. Today I tried a vpn and well, here you have me. My isp is telefonica del Peru, which is the largest isp in my country, you seem to have blocked the whole IP block rendering us peruvians unable to access your site. I can provide my IP address by PM if requested. Thats all!, I hope to be able to get to this site without having to use a vpn, after all your porjects are awesome and I love my two launchpads
bluehash 1,581
Hi Zubiaur, There are no such blocking rules employed. I just checked the .htaccess files. Are both the forums and blog blocked? zubiaur
GeekDoc 226
Blue: Might we have accidentally blocked a block of IPs when banning a user? :|
bluehash 1,581
He does mention that the blog is blocked...but I'll look into user logs for a ban.

zubiaur 0
Changed my isp's DNS to google's. Does nto work either, maybe something its your hosting provider?
Sir Ferdek 8
ROFL. I'm not the admin, but I'm pretty sure it's ISP's fault... (according to tracert) The question is: which one? 43oh hosting or zubiaur's. Interesting...
GeekDoc 226
It doesn't seem to be getting out of his or his ISP's 10.x.x.x non-internet-routable network. It never hits an actual internet IP. Might just not be getting a response from the 43oh server, but I doubt it Sorry, man. This seems to be on your end.
bluehash 1,581
Thanks doc. Zubiaur, could you try accessing the site from another place(different ISP)?

zubiaur 0
Use Opera on Turbo mode Usen Opera en modo turbo. Please, excuse me for reviving such and old thread. I just wanted to share the easiest way to circumvent telefonica's filtering: Use Opera on turbo mode. I am writing this because today I was contacted by another peruvian user with the same problem, aparently he contacted one of the mods who gave him my email address (thats allright, no problems with that, good judgment call), I offered him this alternative which I found easier and more affordable than using a VPN. So here it is for all peruvians who have no access to this awesome site, in hope you find an answer on a google cached version of this or whatever. Good luck and keep tinkering. bluehash 1,581
Thanks zubiar.. sorry about that. He was really desperate genuine. He could have sent you a PM, but couldn't access the site. I should have contacted you first. I'll make sure to do that next time.
