RobG 1,892
We should consider other chips too, not just 23K256. For example, 23K640 (8K bytes) is half the price of 23K256. Also, some might want to use EEPROM instead of SRAM, so maybe bundle both. 25AA640A @ $0.43 23K640 @ $0.62 Avnet has also great prices on MSP and TPS, they are out of stock of MSPs, but usually once the order is placed, they will get them. Hmm... Yeah, Avnet does have exellent prices for MSP430 chips, But the lead time is 2 months :|

kff2 22
I am new here, not sure how these group buys work. Is it too early to say I want 3 of these?
GeekDoc 226
I am new here, not sure how these groups buys work. Is it too early to say I want 3 of these? Not too early, but maybe a bit premature. The smart guys are still figuring out the best contents for the kit, then they can get a price quote and figure out if it's feasible. But hey, if you're in for three no matter what, early is better!

I'll see if i can trim that figure down. Still not bad considering what you get...
CptanPanic 5
Can someone explain what this boosterpack does, as I thought it was just a breakout for the CC2500 modules, but it does have lots of components. Thanks.

RichardVowles 12
I'm not sure which thread to attach this to, but did anyone else who ordered the cc2500's find any problems? I'm trying to solder mine up and I'm getting continuity between pins 4, 5 and 7. Is that normal? I've tried 5 so far.
