zeke 693
I went back through both posts and I couldn't find any datasheets on these modules. Could someone post a link?
bluehash 1,581
There is no datasheet. The module schematic can be seen at the vendor link page, below the yellow highlighted text.
alvarop 14
Unless you're looking for the CC2500 datasheet. That one is here: http://www.ti.com/lit/ds/symlink/cc2500.pdf
larsie 121
It's really an incredibly low price for such a good radio chip. Well, the CC2500 is good at least, and let's hope the module is good also. I can't understand how they managed to make it so cheap.
SugarAddict 227
"Sorry, this item is no longer available!" Did you reserve/buy them already?
bluehash 1,581
Not yet. The links expire. I'll have to chat with the rep and they do a custom order.

alvarop 14
I can't understand how they managed to make it so cheap. I believe they were used in wireless video game controllers (guitar hero). This means they made tons of them, which should drive the cost way down. http://www.elektroda.pl/rtvforum/topic1512074.html
caa028 7
Bump me up from 6 to 10, please.
SugarAddict 227
I wonder... what would need modified on these to attach an external antennae?
greenitguy 3
Can you please sign me up for 6 please? xpg 127
It seems that shipment to Europe is not too expensive, so sign me up for 10. Should be enough for playing with wireless communication for a while :-)
larsie 121
I wonder... what would need modified on these to attach an external antennae? The resistor network that adapts the impedance to the antenna would (probably) need to be changed. It's relatively tough to get it right, and it's likely that you'd get worse performance than is there already. But you could test it out and see I guess. If you found an external antenna that has the same impedance as the PCB antenna, it might be simple, but I wouldn't know what the PCB antenna impedance is, and I think many external antennas are 50 ohm impedance.
