Did you mean what you did yesterday? :D

 

Looks great. It would be nice if you could also break out the serial connection in a line at the end of the board. This would give the option of not using the serial connector and easily attaching it to a booster for example.

I was planning on making a B rev board that will have 0.100" holes instead of the DB9 connector and a C rev that doesn't have the RS232 level translator IC.

 

I'm wondering if I can do this with just population options rather than creating a lot of different layouts.

I could add in two row of nine 0.100" spaced pins:

- The first row would be above U2 (where the logo is) and it would be all nine TTL signals.

- The second row between U2 and J1 and it would be all nine RS232 signals.

 

What do you think of those population options?
