bluehash 1,581
Sure. I'll be sending them by the end of this week, once I get zeke's corrections in.
zeke 693
Sure. I'll be sending them by the end of this week, once I get zeke's corrections in. Huh? :eh: Oh. Nevermind. I just re-read the previous page and now I understand.
bluehash 1,581
Ok.. I've not updated this thread, but I've sent the PCBs in to fab to Seeed. This will take some time with the New Years and all. I could not put zeke's 45 deg traces in due to time constraints. I've also sent out a SDCard Breakout to be made in LP format. Will let you guys know how it goes. A shoutout to Wiznet again for sponsoring us.
bluehash 1,581
PCBs shipped.
SugarAddict 227
How hard would it be to do 802.11 LEAP with these?... I could almost make something and carry it around at work if I can network it wirelessly there... I'm game for one in the end
bluehash 1,581
What's a leap. You mean a hop? I'll keep one for you
SugarAddict 227
bah, I meant EAP/PEAP, that's what we've got at work for the "non-guest" wireless (Though we do work with Cisco's LEAP on the older laptops.. haha)

NullColaShip 14
I could well be interested in (at least) one of these when they're ready - assuming you can ship to New Zealand ;-)
bluehash 1,581
Yes.. These can be shipped First Class anywhere except USPS restricted countries. I have to start a gb for the module(~$30). Wiznet sent me three for testing.
bluehash 1,581
Just came in along with the SDCard BoosterPacks. Footprint(unsoldered) checks out perfectly. 4jochen
zeke 693
Nice boards. Good job! You have untented (ie: exposed) vias that will be right underneath the module. You should check to see if they will make contact with anything conductive on the bottom of the wifi module. Flip over the module and take a photo of its bottom. Post it here so we can see what potential problems are lurking.
bluehash 1,581
Oh. I believe there will be design improvements here. I'll post some tomorrow.
