Rei Vilo 695
Which board are you compiling against? Are the required drivers, if any, installed? Is the board correctly configured?
biza 0
Thanks for answering Rei Vilo I have two boards, at the moment I am trying to run the msp430g2553, everything is well configured. I can not find any drivers
Rei Vilo 695
Have a look at https://embeddedcomputing.weebly.com/msp430-launchpad-with-msp430g2553-pins-maps.html Quote • CAUTION The jumpers J3 for serial port depend on the revision of the LaunchPad board, revision 1.5 (top) or 1.4 (bottom). energia 485
You should not need any drivers for the programming part. Couple questions: Is the PWR LED on when you have it plugged in? Which version of macOS are you running? Are the VCC/TEST/RST jumpers properly installed? Which version of the MSP430 core do you have installed? Make sure you update to the latest (1.0.3) through the board manager (Tools->Board->Boards Manager...) For the Serial part to work you need a driver which can be found here: http://energia.nu/guide/guide_macosx/. The drivers are under the title: "MSP-EXP430G2 and MSP-EXP430FR5739 LaunchPad".
