mun5 0
Hi According to the FAQ, "Energia is an open-source electronics prototyping platform". Why is it only a prototyping platform? Are there reasons why it can't/shouldn't be used for production? AFAIK, the only disadvantage of Energia is that it produces code of a larger size (compared with CCS). So what might be the impediment to adopting it in production? Cheers
spirilis 1,265
Hasn't been tested to rigorous standards demanded by production use cases. Plus TI has to state that to avoid being sued if bad things happened that could be traced back to bugs in Energia. (Not an official explanation) Fmilburn
