I am trying to connect my MSP432 LP to a WIndows XP computer (having given up on using the Mac due to ongoing USB comms connection problems). I have downloaded and installed the driver package as instructed (XDS110_drivers.zip). The driver installation says it was succesful however when I plug in the LP for the first time, installation of the TI debug probes driver(s) fail. The comm ports drivers install correctly. During the driver installation these messages are shown: "Cannot Install the Hardware There was a problem installing this hardware: XDS110 (02.02.04.00) with CMSIS-DAP

So far I have been able to get Energia running well on Mac OS (less than 5 minutes including download time) and Windows XP (NOT less than 5 minutes :-)). In my experience downloading and installing (attempting to at least) the drivers from the Energia Windows instructions page does not work. Can't communicate with the device. I was able to get it to work by downloading the Stellaris drivers directly from TI and following their installation instructions. What you need can be found at the TI http://www.ti.com/tool/stellaris_icdi_drivers'>Stellaris

Hello I'm not sure where to post, so I do it here, please feel free to give me the correct topic to go to, Sorry !-) I am new to MSP-EXP430F5529LP and Energia. I tried to install Energia 0101E0010 following the getting started webpage (http://www.energia.nu/Guide_MacOSX.html). Everything looks correct but Serial Port is grey, no ways to get it... So, I tried to install 0101E0009. Here, Serial ports are looking correct (although I have 2 potential candidate ports that I have seen nowhere in the topics on this forum: /dev/cu.Z530i-SerialPort-1 or /dev/cu.Z530i-Dial-upNetworking-2

If by any chance your PC is not able to install drivers for the Stellaris Launchpad ICDI , follow this procedure. The quickstart guide does not have this. You also may want to use this if you have an older version of CCS. my version of CCS is 5.2.1.00018: Plugin your Stellaris Launchpad. You will see the following on device manager: Go here and download the Stellaris ICDI drivers. These are not FTDI drivers, but drivers for the emulator. There is no FTDI on the Stellaris Launchpad Point to the same folder for each of the three drivers. You will get this: Once installed,
