Compiling CMSIS DSPLIB to MSP432 (and other cortex M4 from TI)
agaelema posted a topic in Code vaultHi. In the beginning of this year I wrote two articles showing how to compile the CMSIS DSPLIB to use in MSP432 and one example of use. The sequence is very similar to used in Stellaris and Tiva line. The articles are in portuguese, but there is a embedded translator. Compiling the CMSIS DSPLIB to MSP432 Example of use - FIR filter I hope it's useful.
Anyone building CMSIS under Linux?
doragasu posted a topic in Code VaultI have recently received my Stellaris Launchpad and I'm building a toolchain to code for it using GNU+Linux. So far I have the cross compiler+lm4tools+stellarisware running. I can build the stellaris examples and flash them without problems. As I want to do some signal processing with my board, I'd like to build the CMSIS library. At least the DSPLib part (I don't need the RTOS right now). The library zip file has some scripts to build it using Keil, but as I'm a GNU+Linux user, I can't run Keil IDE. Also unfortunately, I'm a total noob when talking about autotools, so... Has a
StellarisWare or CMSISMy current project is a balance bot using the Stellaris LaunchPad but there's a chance that once the STM32F3 Discovery is available it might be a better fit due to the onboard accelerometer and gyro. Then I remembered that the CMSIS library is supposed to be ARM's recommended hardware abstraction layer. Should we be using that on the Stellaris rather than StellarisWare? StellarisWare does seem nice to use and to be honest most of us are unlikely to be writing code that need to be portable but I thought I'd ask what people thought. I downloaded the Stellaris CMSIS headers from http://ww
