  1. Hello, I am storing a sensor value in the Flash Memory in a Segment of MSP430F5529 board. Since the data from the sensor keeps changing i want the data to be overwritten so that not much of space in flash memory is used. Is there a simple way to achieve the overwrite feature in flash memory ? Also i have another doubt, i wanted to know if i keep writing continuously a data to flash memory, does the microcontroller gets caught in writing to the flash and slows the running program ? thank you for taking time to review my questions.
  2. Thanks in advance for helping. New to microcontrollers, not fluent in C so would prefer higher level language like Energia. Using an MSP430F5529LP to drive a stepper motor, creating a square wave using timer A interrupt handler. That works fine, but would like an additional input to the MSP to increase/decrease the speed. In the following code, the external interrupt is detected when the TA0CCR0 assignment is commented out. With the line included, the external interrupt is not recognized. Thanks again. int TESTPIN1 = P1_5; int state = LOW; void setup(
  3. Energia Version energia-1.6.10E18 I beleive this is refered to as Energia V17 Anaren C110L Booster Pack - there is no revision on silkscreen MSP430F5529 Launc Pad Rev 1.6 Running Energia Sketch AIR430BoostUSAFCC -WirelessTest.ino Including test serial output dispaly at end of this write up Basic Problem: CC110l Signal Receive strenght is reported near minimum when boards are only 6 inches to 1 foot aparts. Range is only a few feet before test crash. RSSI reports -45 at about 6-8 inches and -60 at 12-14 inches. I'm running wirelesstest.ino using 2 configurations of MSP430F5529
  4. I need help getting MSP430F5529LP to receive signals with nrf24l01 from MSP4302553. MSP4302553 Sends signal to another MSP4302553 with no problem. But cant get MSP430F5529LP to receive anything. I don't know if it is because of two SPI communications on the MSP430F5529LP or because the clock rate is different or something else. Please Help! 5. I just spent the last two hours trying to figure out why all of the UART-related register code was failing on my 5529LP. After hooking up to a different 5529, where code performed as expected, I finally remembered that several months ago I'd found that one of my LP boards had a "broken" UART/I2C - Of course, I'd not marked the board when I set it aside. Dumb. Board is marked now. It's still useful for other experiments, so I'll keep it on hand; I just won't use it for any comms protocols.
  6. Hi all, I have MSP430F5529LP V1.6 working with Energia Platform IO and Atom (not all time), but mainly Energia.. I would like to know if someone has solved the SD breakout for the MSP430..as well as the schematics. I have pulled the SD-Master library but apparently its not compatible with MSP.. My target/goal is to have a camera VC0706 with Micro-SD breakout .. but this "MSP" isn't compatible... 7. Hello, i'm trying to implement Lorawan on the MSP430F5529LP using the RFM9X module, with a little help from internet i found out that there is a library called LMIC that can actually help me do that on an Arduino, so my question is can i use Energia to do that on the MSP430F5529LP?
  8. Hi, I have connected two ADS1220 AD converters to LaunchPad MSP430F5529LP. First of all I needed to Chip select pins to manage the SPI communication so I updated some pin mapping. I also debugged that CS pins are working following my code. However I haven
  9. Hey, when I try to upload the program through Energia, it shows "no unused fet found" what should i do.?
  10. Hi, I am following this video to create a simple web server on MSP430F5529LP with CC3000 Boost, with Energia version 11. The output of the serial monitor is attached. When I access the server IP (http://192.128.1.68/) from the browser, the page doesn't load. The boost IP doesn't seem legit. Look at the attached output and you will see the gateway is 192.128.1.254 but actually the gateway is 192.168.1.254 (got from cmd prompt ipconfig result). Similarly, the boost IP should be 192.168.1.68, not 192.128.1.68. Tried both in the browser but none works. It seems like my CC30
