Atmel announced today the release of its high density ARM Cortex M4 Flash chip : SAM4SD32 2 mb flash! I never go above 50Kb. This will make a good file system chip. We need cheaper devkits now.

Is there anyway to know which arm controller to start with? I'm new to all of this and looking to get into ARM micro-controllers. So far I see the stellaris and stm32 line most supported. Are there any more? Which dev kit would you suggest? I come from a PIC background. Thanks for reading.
