Board: MSP-Exp430G Rev. 1.5 MSP430G2231 OS: Windows 10 I upgraded to Energia: 1.8.10E23 (12/17/2019). To test I load the "Blink" from the examples. After having troubles, I also loaded the drivers new. During upload I get the the following error msg: prog: 'c:\tmp\arduino_build_502867/Blink.ino.hex': The filename, directory name, or volume label syntax is incorrect. Note the "/" before Blink". I think this causes the error. Where does it come from? The whole output can be found in the enclosed file. I could find the name in question in the output of the compi

Hello, I am a new user attempting the blink example. Here is the error that I get java.io.IOException: Cannot run program "C:\Users\andre\AppData\Local\Energia15\packages\energia\tools\dslite\7.2.0.2096/DebugServer/bin/DSLite": CreateProcess error=2, The system cannot find the file specified I have already installed the drivers from https://energia.nu/guide/install/windows/ and restarted the PC. The device is a LaunchPad (Tiva C) w/tm4c123 (80MHz) on COM3. I'm using Window 10 PRO, with latest updates. Energia 1.8.7E21. Many thanks for any thoughts

New forum member here! With any code that will verify successfully, I get the following error message every other time I try to upload, regardless of whether I modified the program or not: Running Energia 1.6.10E18 on OSX 10.10.5 It also doesn't matter if I switch the serial port. Any ideas on how to fix this? I didn't see anyone else with this problem, surprisingly.

I'm new to MSP430 MCU and I had this MSP430FG439. How can I upload firmware code to the MSP430FG439 MCU using Energia IDE? Can you cite some references or tutorials that I could look through?

Hi, Im not total noob. I did use old energia and Launchpad 2553 on this machine years ago and was good. Bought new LP and got new Energia recently. It wont upload. I get the usbutil: unable to find a device matching 0451:f432 error message tried everythig for two evenings. COM8 only shows, WIN7 pro 64 bit, I loaded the additional driver, USB for the MSP430 UART shows and is said to be working in device manager. Bit lost really - did not want to send the units back to Farnell. Any clues - Steve UK

I am not quite familiar with the energia software, and am getting this error message when I try to upload a sketch. The attached file is what I am trying to upload. java.io.IOException: Cannot run program "{runtime.tools.dslite-7.2.0.2096.path}/DebugServer/bin/DSLite": CreateProcess error=2, The system cannot find the file specified at java.lang.ProcessBuilder.start(Unknown Source) at processing.app.helpers.ProcessUtils.exec(ProcessUtils.java:26) at cc.arduino.packages.Uploader.executeUploadCommand(Uploader.java:130) at cc.arduino.packages.uploaders.SerialUp

?Hello, I am trying to upload a "Blink" program to my MSP-EXP430G2. I have no problems uploading code successfully through Code Composer Studio. But if I try to update the same code through Energia, it won't work. The error message is: usbutil: unable to find a device matching 0451:f432 An error occurred while uploading the sketch I have checked that the port number and board are correctly selected. Could anyone offer any help troubleshooting this? I want to use Energia over CCS, mainly so I can quickly and easily get a read-out of the serial port. But if anyone knows of an ea

I am using a msp430g2553 on a TI launchpad. First question. I have composed and uploaded a few programs using Energia. Is there any way of determining what is presently uploaded. Is there some way or partitioning the chip like i can do on a Windows hard drive ? Not sure if this is possible or has any practical use. I am just curious. Thanks

Hi, I just got a MSP432. I am working on Windows 7 64 bit. Upload to MSP430 does work, so I think Energia is o.k.. The problem are probably drivers. As upload did not work to MSP432, I updated to Energia 17, but this did not help. Then I updated drivers from: http://energia.nu/fi...110_drivers.zip This did not help either. I noticed that if I plug the MSP432, I get 2 virtual USB ports, not one as with MSP430, but this may be o.k.? From the utility xdfdsu -e I get following info about the drivers: ===================== VID: 0x0451 PID: 0xbef3 Device Name: XDS110 with CMSIS-DA
