This project was my final project for the Embedded Systems Class at John Brown University. For this project, I used a Sparkfun RGB and Gesture Sensor, an Arduino, and a Raspberry Pi. I used the Arduino to read in gesture directions from the gesture sensor and then set a certain GPIO pin high, delayed, and then set the pin low based on which direction was sensed, left or right. This GPIO pin was connected toa a GPIO pin on the Raspberry Pi. Having a small collection of older F1xx and F4xx MSP430 devices, I've been looking for a convenient way to flash and debug them. The devices I have don't support Spy By Wire, so they require 4-wire JTAG. They also have their JTAG pins shared with other functions, so the test and reset pins have to be used to put them into JTAG mode. While I do have an Olimex parallel-port JTAG adapter, the computer I use most of the time has no parallel port. I couldn't find an example of someone using the Raspberry Pi as a receiving hub for sensor nodes that use the spirilis nRF24L01+ library and a MSP430G2553. Hi everybody, I followed Recursive Lab's tutorial on using the Stellaris launchpad with Linux and now have succesfully compiled lm4tools and gcc for the Raspberry Pi. I am currently able to create, edit and program (and debug) the Stellaris Launchpad with the Raspberry Pi. I have a feeling that this could a wonderful combination, but I am currently a little dry on good ideas to pursue. Does anyone have suggestions? Kind regards, Eelco
