My first Tiva project, MIDI -> DMX bridge (this is the 3rd version, the other 2 were MSP430F5xxx based.) It has 6 universes, 512 channels each, and includes PoE. Initially, the software was written (with the exception of MIDI and mapping/sequencing part) entirely using TivaWare, and then most critical parts were optimized.

About a year ago, in an effort to reduce cost of my DMX decoders, I have started to look for an alternative to MSP430. One chip that really fit the bill was STM8S003K3. It has 1K RAM, it's fairly cheap, comes in package that is easier to solder than TSSOP, has 5V operating voltage (less parts and cheaper parts,) HF crystal oscillator, UART, and 4 channel timer. In addition, STM has few nice low cost DISCOVERY eval boards, some of them cost only $7. My initial work was halted for various reasons, but last week I have decided to resume and the software is almost done. However, not eve

This DMX to Analog converter was designed to be used with stage props (servo pneumatic proportional control system, which is capable of positioning heavy loads at high speeds.) It's 8 channel (selectable start channel,) 8-12 bits resolution, 0-10V output, dimensions are 2" x 2".

Ethernet - DMX Booster Pack. Uses WIZ820io on the Ethernet side and SN65HVD12 on the RS-485 side. XLR or RJ45 socket can be used. Compatible with MSP430, Stellaris, C2K, and Tiva LaunchPads. Will provide e1.31 example later on. If interested in a standalone version, I will have 2 and 4 universe versions very soon. 4 universe version will have Ethernet, XBee, and MIDI inputs.
