Or by standard all booster packs use solder jumpers, requiring you to select which pins to use, or having 6mil wire on the defaults that you can cut and solder what you want... Like was done with my LCD one. You can stick that on top of almost anything

Got mine yesterday... They look nice! Will be using the 2 line one at work for a ticker and the 4 line one at home on another project. They even included a free sample blue filter.

Of course, this begs the question: What makes something a dev kit?

I'm too lazy today to copy it into it's own library... There's some other odds and ends in this lib (one of the few I've got going...).

Enjoy (It's got the layout of the spacer on it, which is a good guideline of the LCD size/shape)

    Hello again my friends,
I posted the video of the full msp430 based EFI system running my tractor.
You can see the waterproof box that holds the fuses and all the connections.
Originally this tractor did not have a single fuse.

The fuel injector is a TBI unit from a Geo Metro, just using the injector portion of the TB.
The throttle plate is from a Prius, and is an electronic controlled throttle.
Processor is a msp4301232, with two high-side mosfets (previously used to charge NiMH batterys),
one used to control the throttle, the other controls the fuel injector. The ADC inputs from the 430 are used to read the analog sensor inputs (GM parts) the o2 sensor, the MAP, the water temp.
The Tach input signal of course is the msp430 based coil-on-plug ignition I showed earlier.

Also here is the dashboard I built for it, using msp430 processors that drive bargraphs on the LCDs
for the readings. Fuel level, Water Temp, Battery Voltage, Oil Pressure, and RPM.

So I've been working on this for a little while now... I'll get a prototype of the mounting spacer from the CNC shop around the 9th... I have some boards already that were made purely for testing the footprint, lcd, and code. I've already got a batch of the production PCB's on order that are to make sure everything is good before I order a crapload of them... I'm looking at doing 100 of these.

Rob-LCDBack.pdf <-- This is the mounting spacer's general idea in 2d, working with the CNC to get it all perfect.

I will be using the Nokia 7110 LCD... dipmicro still has a fair stock of them, I'm going to order 100 of them when I get my next paycheck.

    Thoughts?

I will be taking a minor loss to make this happen at $4.30 each, it's still cheaper than a day at the slopes!
