  1. Hey guys, Sorry for the late reply. As a note, I will say I had my setup working on IAR Embedded Workbench before, but since I was starting to reach code size limitations, I am trying to switch over. Here is my makefile (hope this is what you meant): ----------------------------------------------------------------- ################################################################################ # Automatically-generated file. Do not edit! ################################################################################ -include ../makefile.init RM := rm -rf # All of the sources participating in the build are defined here -include sources.mk -include subdir.mk -include objects.mk ifneq ($(MAKECMDGOALS),clean) ifneq ($(strip $(C_DEPS)),) -include $(C_DEPS) endif endif -include ../makefile.defs # Add inputs and outputs from these tool invocations to the build variables # All Target all: 6dof.elf # Tool invocations 6dof.elf: $(OBJS) $(USER_OBJS) @echo 'Building target: $@' @echo 'Invoking: GCC C Linker' msp430-gcc -mmcu=msp430x1611 -L/opt/msp430-gcc-4.4.5/msp430/lib -L/opt/msp430-gcc-4.4.5/lib -L/usr/local/lib -o"6dof.elf" $(OBJS) $(USER_OBJS) $(LIBS) @echo 'Finished building target: $@' @echo ' ' # Other Targets clean: -$(RM) $(OBJS)$(C_DEPS)$(EXECUTABLES) 6dof.elf -@echo ' ' .PHONY: all clean dependents .SECONDARY: -include ../makefile.targets ----------------------------------------------------------------- Thanks, Mehdi
  2. Hi everyone, So I came across the article describing how to use mspdebug with eclipse as an IDE in order to program the msp430: http://www.43oh.com/2010/11/a-step-by-s ... der-linux/ I am attempting to set up an interface to program the msp-fet430uif using mspdebug. I got through a lot of the tutorial with success. I can build the project, and run the mspdebug proxy (both in Eclipse and on the terminal).
