  3. Hi Jack, Are you trying to do hardware or software UART?
  4. COMIO is a protocol and application I am developing that allows IO control over a serial line. http://david-adam-coffey.com/blog/comio-shell https://github.com/COGSMITH/COMIO/blob/master/COMIO/MSP430/COMIO.C
  5. Here is a neat project I just saw on Hackaday: http://hackaday.com/2012/10/07/giving-the-msp430-a-gui/ It is called ControlEasy and it is a GUI for doing IO on a 430. http://e2e.ti.com/group/universityprogram/students/m/students_repository/664591.aspx
  6. cde: I had thought about that, but the 14 gauge wire I was using barely went in the terminal. Two strands definitely wouldn't fit. GeekDoc: They are Sain Smart relays from Amazon. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0057OC5WK/ref=as_li_ss_til?tag=cogsmithanaly-20&camp=0&creative=0&linkCode=as4&creativeASIN=B0057OC5WK&adid=09EH8D5B1DRAY3JHJW6W&
  7. It is definitely not UL approved I did manage to get it all stuffed neatly inside the 4 gang box however.
  8. Here is a project built using a 430 to power a USB controllable 8 outlet AC relay box. http://david-adam-coffey.com/blog/ac-relay-box
  9. This, like all of your projects, is very cool. You are one prolific possum.

    Talking clock

In soviet russia, the clock talks to you...
  11. Yes, I have found that thread, very good info I am not sure how I found the store ... I have some experience with arduino and netduino ... I was looking for new platforms to get into and found the 430.
  12. Hi Everyone, I found this site (and the launchpad in general) via the store ... where I quickly cleaned out all of these cheap but awesome little dev boards. I am currently working on some code for a serial shell on the 430 that allows for some simple IO functionality via a terminal like putty. I hope to post it soon.
  13. I would be interested in all of those kits: 5510 breakout, led booster, and easyweb3.
