Sweet! Thank you! -
Hi jpnorair, Thanks for the feedback. I do have the board plugged on the EZ430-Emulation side with the power selection switch to eZ. The board gets power and the preloaded demos work just fine. I wanted to use the on board emulation/debugger. Was not planning on using SBW. If only TI had a driver that worked correctly under Win8 Thanks, Ricardo

Similar issue here with the MSP-EXP430F5529 development board. My Windows 8 machine cannot recognize the driver in the device manager. My other TI development boards work just fine. I've seen a lot of people re-purpose infra red ovens into their own re-flow oven. I actually use a dedicated Walmart $20 electric Griddle for all my surface mount soldering. The built in thermostat enables me to ramp up the heat slowly. I get good repeatable results and have yet to damage any parts.

My order is confirmed but not shipped however there is nothing to ship as it clearly says that it is a download only with no DVD media. Waiting on further instructions.

Hi Bluehash, I registered to the Forum in anticipation to the March 15th Avnet C2000 webcast. I also saw that some folks are working on some new platforms using this uC. Like everything else, I'm here to learn as much as I can. So far, no complaints on the forum software.

Works great. Thanks!
